Daniel Thornton
Founder and Executive Director
Daniel Thornton, Founder and Executive Director of Dare 2 Care International is a visionary who believes every goal can be an achievement and every dream can become a reality. He is a strategic thinker and master connector, working tirelessly to ensure everyone has a seat at the table of opportunity. An inspirational and respected leader in his community, Daniel motivates and encourages all who cross his path. His mantra is “Everyone can succeed, and there are no limits.” Dare 2 Care International was born out of the desire to expand its impact globally and provide opportunities for his brothers and sisters all over the world to thrive.
Alfonso Bowens
Co-founder, and board member
Alfonso Bowens, Co-founder, and board member of Dare 2 Care International is an ordained Minister and has a heart for people and serving. Alfonso has a BA degree in History and Government from Bowie State University and an MBA in Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University. He is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP). Alfonso loves to travel the globe and spread love, peace, and unity.
James Brown
Board Member
James Brown, Board Member of Dare 2 Care International is the Vice President of Operation at Suite Solutions, LLC. James has over 25 years of Operations & Customer Service-related experience, 18 years of which have been in the Corporate Housing industry. Prior to joining the Suite Solutions team, James worked in the Operations Department for NCRC; a Washington, D.C. based non-profit Development Corporation that specialized in affordable housing and community development.
